PSN Region Labeling and Listing QA Template

Create one controlled region record, then reuse its exact wording in the listing, checkout, delivery message, and first support reply.

Editable record

Build one region label version

Start with the PlayStation Store region, not the currency. The same approved label should reach the buyer before payment and remain attached to the fulfilled order record.

Use one version at every touchpoint

A label passes QA only when the same product family and region wording survives the whole order path.

TouchpointUse from the recordHold publication if
ListingProduct family, approved region label, and denomination or subscription details. The title says only "PSN code", hides region, or mixes wallet credit with PS Plus.
CheckoutThe same region label and an account-region reminder before payment.Currency is standing in for region, or compatibility appears only after purchase.
DeliveryThe sold label version in the delivery record and customer instructions. The delivery wording differs from the version shown at checkout.
SupportThe sold version, order ID, account region, code region, screenshot, and exact error text.A replacement is discussed before the region and product type are checked.

Change the label without rewriting order history

  1. Draft and approve. Give the record a version, owner, effective date, and reason for the change.
  2. Release the set. Update listing, checkout, delivery, and support wording together, then open each rendered surface to verify it.
  3. Archive the old version. Keep the wording snapshot attached to every fulfilled order. A later edit must not alter what that buyer saw.

Review triggers: check the wording after an inventory upload or bulk listing change, after a translation changes, and when claims repeat the same region or product confusion. Set a separate periodic cadence that fits your catalog; there is no universal monthly rule.

Hold the release when the label drifts

  • The PlayStation Store region is absent from the title or structured attributes.
  • Currency is being used as a substitute for the region.
  • "Global" or "worldwide" appears without explicit product confirmation.
  • Gift-card denomination and PS Plus tier or duration share one ambiguous product label.
  • Listing, checkout, delivery, or support uses a different region name.
  • A translated label cannot be mapped back to the supplier region field.
  • A new version would overwrite the wording stored with a fulfilled order.

Check the record against the buying flow
